Just settling in from our Sunday to today trip. Had bluefish for dinner on Monday and sea mullet for dinner on Tuesday. Brought home about 5 lbs of sea mullet and pompano filets for the freezer and a red drum for the grill tomorrow night. Met lots of nice people. The Yadkin County family reunion, a nice couple from Iowa and some nice young men on the ferry back to Davis. Shared some wisdom with them and they were very appreciative. Not bad for a couple of old farts who know that we won’t be able to do this much longer.
