Came over on Sunday. Blowing NE 20 to 25. Heard of few drum being caught but just rode the beach and chilled. Yesterday we kept a couple bluefish for dinner. Caught some nice sea mullet and a few keeper spots. Lots of tiny pompano. Sand fleas are scarce but we managed to find some on the falling tide. Couldn’t keep drum bait in the water long as the calico crabs were devouring it in minutes. Today looks to be a bluebird day. Hoping the glass minnows will come close and bring in the Spanish. Haven’t seen any finger in the surf. Did see some cob mullet jumping in the pond near the point.
